Brides (and grooms) wanted for new experience… Trash with Class!

August 8th, 2008

It’s hit the USA by storm! It’s hitting the shores of the UK!
It’s now here in Derbyshire!

Its Trash The Dress…with Class!

Trash the Dress shoots – once you’re back from the honeymoon and settling in to married life allow us to create some stunning images of you both.

Trash my wedding dress are you crazy?

Lets start by saying this is not about destroying the dress it’s about creating some fabulous, unusual, more creative and fashion style Wedding Photographs in different locations. We have seen the brides worrying about dirt on the dress on the wedding day, walking around holding it up all day, just in case it gets a mark!
Well now here is a real alternative - “Trash with Class” concept - and the words that got it started
“Go ahead, you know you want to. Trash it. Get it dirty. Get it wet. Roll around in the mud. Drench it in the ocean. Totally trash it. Why? … Why not? You’ve made a commitment to your husband. He’s your one and only true love, right? Then you’ll never need the dress again. And no, your daughter won’t wear it in 20-30 years. So you have two choices: 1) Suffocate it in plastic and throw it in a closet or: 2) Show your husband how committed you are by trashing the dress, and get some great fun pictures while you do it!
What are you waiting for? If we did your Wedding Photography (or even if we didn’t or if you didn’t even have a professional photographer ) We are offering a FREE Trash with Class ” Style After the Wedding Photo Shoot for the first few who book up! Our usual price will be £200 Inc 4 10×8’s
We might travel to the coast or use local lakes and streams, we have some great woods or how about the Peak District hills or a broken down industrial estate!! Give us a call and lets arrange a shoot, it will be loads of fun and you’ll have some great fun shots to choose from! - So call it art, call it creative, call it exciting, call it Trash with Class! - You’ll get some great images to see and we’ll throw in an A3+ mounted print at no charge for the first few who book a trash the dress style.
We will be dedicating two weeks at the beginning of October so call now to avoid disappointment.

Trash with Class - dare to be different!!

The wedding of Lian & Kriston

August 4th, 2008

Saturday saw us at the fantastic venue of Chatsworth House for the wedding of Lian & Kriston. Despite a not so brilliant weather forecast we had a great day, the sky was blue with the odd cloud and the weather was warm and dry. The day went so fast but was most enjoyable, and we met some really nice people.
Here’s a few shots from the day.

The Pre-wedding shoot of Lian & Kriston

July 28th, 2008

Lian & Kriston are getting married this coming Saturday at the picturesque setting of Chatsworth House. This will be the first wedding we have photogrphed at this venue so we are really looking forward to it. We are also filming this one so we should get some excellent footage.

Here’s a slideshow of a selection of images taken at their pre-wedding shoot at Walton Dam. My sincerest apologies to Lian, i’ve spelt her name wrong on the slideshow title. We’ve been dealing with a few Lian’s/Leannes this past few weeks so it was a typo error.

Enjoy.

The wedding highlights of Debbie & Damon

July 28th, 2008

Well as predicted this wedding was a great deal of fun from start to finish. Damon decided to start the day off by putting on the best mans shirt, waistcoat and jacket, which appeared to be quite on the tight side, but being the pro’s as we are we said how good he looked whilst at the same time thinking, “It looks a bit tight!”, but then when the best man came in and said “My trousers are a bit long” trying to pull up six inches of overhang…!! After 10 minutes of everyone laughing we got back on with the job. It was a great day and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it.
Here’s a highlight of some of the day.

Enjoy, Carl

Things always happen in three’s!

July 15th, 2008

What an expensive troublesome last week we’ve had

1. PC computer decided to die on us, had to buy new Mac (well I didn’t have to buy a Mac, but it was a good excuse! £2k)
2. I knocked a video camera off of the table on Saturday. Had to buy a new one yesterday (£3k!)
3. Jenny dropped her phone down the, yes, the toilet tonight, now that won’t work.

and tomorrow i’ve got to get a new printer ‘cos i’m having compatibility issues with CS3 on the Mac and my current printer.

I’ll be glad when August comes around!!

The wedding of Vicky & Justin

July 13th, 2008

Yesterday we attended the wedding of Vicky & Justin, and what a wedding it was. Blessed by beautiful weather, apart from a 5min shower just before the wedding started, this was the dream wedding of this great couple.
Vicky arrived in her open top horse and carriage at Perlethorpe Church, and the main reception was held just down the lane at Thoresby. A beautiful setting.

Here’s a few of my favourite picks of the day
