The Wedding of Laura & Steve

Well the weather turned out fine for today. We started off with Steve and the groomsmen and then went to see Laura and the bridesmaids and youngsters, it was busy here to say the least. Laura got into her dress and it was quite an emotional time when dad came into the room and saw her in her dress for the first time.
Here’s a slideshow showing some of the highlights of the day;

If you would like to view the gallery of the wedding then please send us an email asking for the link. Once the bride and groom have ok’d the release of the images we will send you a link to view the gallery. Please note, this can mean waiting until after they return from honeymoon.

Steve wrote the backing song we have used in the slideshow. This was written as a suprise for Laura for their first dance.
Enjoy.

Today is the wedding of Laura & Steve

Well shortly we’ll be heading of to shoot the wedding of Laura & Steve.
We met these guy’s a couple of years ago when we were shooting the Peak FM sports charity calendar. Steve was posing with his band Ovacast, and Laura posed on her own, scantily clad in cricket pads. It was a nude calendar with the proceeds going to Ashgate Hospice and the Genesis Breast Cancer appeal. Two years on and here we are loading up to shoot their wedding.
We’re really looking forward to today because you can have a right good laugh and feel completely at ease with these two, which i’m sure will make for some great images. The weather is a bit “Ovacast” no pun intended, at the minute but the forecast is for it to keep dry with sunny spells.
Okay got to go ….. load up the car …. fill the water bottles ….. and off we go!!

RE VIEWING WEDDING GALLERIES

Can I just remind guests from weddings, if you want to view the images from the wedding you must send us an email, not a request on this blog. That way you will automatically get added to the bride & grooms mailing list. We then send out an update to all links of their images. If you request to be added by posting a comment on the blog we don’t always get it, it also takes a considerable amount of time to transfer details manually, if we have 30 guests from each wedding it takes a few hours, thanks.

Also, please note that apart from the wedding day slideshow, we will not publish the images until the bride and groom have seen them all first. This can sometimes be after they have returned from honeymoon. Whilst we edit all the images within a couple of days of the wedding, it’s only fair that they are the first to view. Once they give us the go ahead then we publish.

Have a great day,

Carl

The pre-wedding shoot of Eleanor & Paul

We actually shot Eleanor and Paul just before I came down with the chest infection. I’ve been prescribed antibiotics now and they are starting to work, I now feel much better and starting to get back into doing things so here is the pre wedding shoot of this really likeable and fun couple.

Enjoy,

Carl

The Pre-wedding shoot of Leanne & Darren

As some of you know i’ve been quite ill with a severe chest infection for the past two weeks, i’m still suffering and have now been to see the doctor again who has now prescribed antibiotics!

Anyhow in the meantime, Leanne & Darren came down to the studio where Jenny met them and photographed the two of them around the studio grounds.

Here’s a slideshow of their experience.

I’ve edited the pictures but the photography is all Jenny’s work, it’s about time she got a bit of credit!

Enjoy.

Why no updates?

I thought i’d better put an update on here as to why I haven’t published any posts for the past couple of weeks. Well, i’ve been knocked for six with quite a severe chest infection, which has left me feeling like crap. I’ve had it now for a couple of weeks and just can’t seem to get rid. It’s only been the last couple of days where i’ve felt like doing anything, and even then I start to feel totally drained and worn out. Luckily we’d booked a couple of weeks off weddings so it’s not been a problem, we had planned to take a couple of weekends away, but they had to be cancelled.
I’m going back to the Doc’s tomorrow to see what he say’s, I know i’m over the worst of it, but it has left me feeling drained. I’ll have to send Jenny out to get some bottles of Red Bull, to perk me up a bit! She has had the same bug but it only lasted a few days with her, but then again, i’m a bloke, man flu … and all that!!
