The post wedding shoot of Kelly & Matt

This afternoon we met up with Kelly & Matt, whose wedding we filmed at the beginning of August, to shoot some further footage. We normally shoot a pre-wedding love story, but due to availabilty and weather issues prior to the wedding it was agreed that we would shoot a Mr & Mrs shoot after they returned from honeymoon.
We met up at Hardwick Hall Lakes and had some fun filming the couple together, Matt showed off his skill at hurdling gates and still came out in one piece. After we finished me and Matt had a good chat about our iPhones, comparing apps!!
Here’s a couple of pics taken by Jenny of the guy’s in action.

The Wedding of Chelsea and Adam

So, yesterday the day of Chelsea and Adam’s wedding finally arrived.
We started off by visiting Adam and his groomsmen, Adam was presented with a present from Chelsea, which was a pleasant suprise to Adam, his own personal collection album of some bridal boudoir pics we shot a few weeks ago, absolutely beautiful.
We then drove over to Chelsea’s parents house to photograph her getting ready shots, it was quite an emotional time when dad saw Chelsea for the first time, a moment I don’t think Chelsea, or dad, will ever forget.
The church service followed with a packed out church. We did some formals and some fun shots with the guests who were up for anything, a brilliant crowd! Over the last year or two, we have shot a few weddings of friends of Chelsea & Adam, so we saw quite a few people who we recognised as guests/bridesmaids/groomsmen & parents from previous weddings, so it was nice to see them and have a chat again.
We then moved on to a lake in the Welbeck estate where we shot some images of the bride and groom, then into a field with newly made haystacks for some “different” fashion style pics, which look great. It was then onto the reception where during Adam’s speech there was another suprise lined up, an interruption by none other than “Del Boy” .. the number one Del Boy impersonator in the country, he is brilliant. Apparently Adam has always had the nickname of “Rodney” so what better way to interrupt “Rodneys” speech than by Del Boy making an entrance!!
All in all it was a great day, with lots more people attending the evening reception.
Here’s a photo montage of some of my favourite pics from the day;

And lastly a slideshow of the highlights of the day.
As always if you would like to view the gallery, once the bride & groom have viewed everything, then either leave a request using the comments below or send us an email.

Enjoy!

Getting ready for tomorrow’s weddings

Tomorrow we are shooting the wedding of Chelsea & Adam at the lovely village church in Cuckney, Nottinghamshire. The church at Cuckney named St Mary’s, Norton Cuckney. This Church stands on the remains of a castle and is also the site of a battle between King Edwin and the King of Mercia.

After the wedding we are hoping to go to Thoresby Hall for their personal photo shoot before moving on to the wedding reception at The Clumber Park Hotel.

Here’s a montage of some of our favourites from their pre-wedding shoot a couple of weeks ago.

Search for a star event – Pacific Bar, Chesterfield

Tonight is the final of the Search for a Star competition with local vocalists competing for the prize of £1000.00
It is being held at the Pacific Bar in Chesterfield town centre and promises to be a fun packed night.
We will be there to film the event and then produce a highlight DVD and web video of it, so stay tuned to see that.

Our good mate Becky Measures from Peak FM will be hosting the night so she’s sure to add a bit of entertainment.

It kicks off around 7-7.30pm so if you’ve nothing on, get yourself down there, see some new acts and have a good time.
